Account and Verification

How do I register on Masinery?

Start from Register and choose the correct account type. End users use Masinery to buy or sell machinery. Non-user accounts are for machinery marketers, brokers, dealers, service providers, valuers, transporters, and similar business directory listings.

Why do I need to verify email and mobile?

Email and mobile verification are required before posting offers, sending enquiries as a registered user, reporting offers, or creating a business directory listing. This keeps the marketplace more reliable and reduces spam.

Can I use the dashboard before verification?

Yes, unverified users can login and access the dashboard, but important marketplace actions remain blocked until email and mobile verification are completed.

User Dashboard

What can I manage from the user dashboard?

The dashboard gives access to company information, security, contact verification, My Enquiries, My Offers, Saved Offers, and business directory management for non-user accounts.

What is shown under My Enquiries?

My Enquiries is separated into Received, Sent, Received Offer, Submitted Offer, Ask Price, and Inspection Request. This helps users quickly find normal messages separately from offer negotiation and inspection flows.

What is shown under My Offers?

My Offers includes active, pending, sold, expired, removed, rejected, and saved offer sections. Users can review the status of posted sell offers and buy requirements from one place.

What are Saved Offers?

Saved Offers are listings a logged-in user has saved for later review. On listing pages, use the heart icon to save or remove an offer.

Why do I see alerts on top of the dashboard?

Dashboard alerts inform users about pending verification, account restrictions, submitted offer decisions, revised offers, and other important actions needing attention.

Posting Sell Offers and Buy Requirements

How do I post a sell offer?

Login, verify email and mobile, then choose Post Sell Offer. Add title, category, subcategory specifications, description, price details, location, and photos where available. New and edited sell offers go to admin approval before becoming live.

How do I post a buy requirement?

Login, verify email and mobile, then choose Post Buy Requirement. Buy requirements do not need photographs. New and edited buy requirements also go to admin approval before becoming live.

What happens if an offer expires, is sold, or is removed?

Non-live offers remain viewable with a clear unavailable message, but contact forms, price details, and seller or buyer information are hidden. Communication is paused until the offer is reposted and becomes active again.

Can guests send enquiries?

Guests can send a basic message enquiry, but they do not receive seller or buyer contact details. Guest users are encouraged to create an account to track enquiries and receive eligible contact details through the verified enquiry flow.

When are contact details shared?

Contact details are not openly shown to guests. Registered verified users receive eligible seller or buyer contact details by email after responding through the enquiry flow. These contact details are also available on the related enquiry page/item in the user dashboard. Future paid membership can allow contact visibility on offer pages according to plan rules.

Can I reply to guest enquiries from My Enquiries?

Guest enquiries are contact-only. The registered receiver can see guest contact details, but normal reply conversation is not available for guest users from My Enquiries.

What is Ask Price?

Ask Price is available on sell offers where the seller has not provided a price. Verified logged-in users can ask the seller to share the expected selling price and terms.
